The Power of Prayers-FIGHT BACK!
Sometimes we pray and for whatever reasons our prayers are
not answered or better still they are answered but the manifestations take
forever to show. I wondered for a long time what could be the reason for this
delay but recently it dawned on me that there was a need to pray defensive and
offensive prayers whenever we pray.
The devil desires always to paint God bad. The devil is a
master strategist and he knows a bit about humans to know what we can take and
how far we can go with God before we drop off and find other alternative
solutions to our problems a lot of the time excluding God Himself. Whenever this happens what we must know is
that satan the devil has won a great battle in our lives.
The Bible describes the devil in John 10:10 that the devil
comes to steal, kill and to destroy. Whoever comes to steal, kill or destroy in
our lives is not a friend but rather a strong and wicked enemy which is exactly
who the devil is in our lives. Sometimes we underrate the devil and think that
he is dumb and stupid and the truth is that this is far from the truth.
The devil is extremely clever. He is a huge liar and the Bible calls him the
father of lies. If the Bible calls someone the father of lies then we must
watch out for such a person and be careful not be sucked in by the wiles of the
devil. The devil’s number one reason for existence is to continually make God
look bad to his children. The devil wants us God’s children to believe that God
is the liar, and that God is the wicked one who cannot be trusted at all.
The devil is a LIAR! He is a cheat, he is a deceiver and he
is a wicked tormentor and oppressor. We must learn to fight back as we take on
the devil. The truth is that the battle has been won but the devil is always
spoiling for a fight so he will recreate wars and battles in our minds when in
actual fact we already have the Victories!
The devil will not casually back down. He will continually
fight us so we must learn to fight back and fight big all the time because the
devil plays deaf at times. He behaves as if he cannot hear us but we must shout
him out and shut him out of our lives no matter the cost.
Whatever the devil is telling you presently is a lie. If he
says that you are sick then realize that you are well. If he says that you are
poor then realize that you are rich and wealthy. Learn to fight back and fight
big so that you can live to enjoy you spoils of war and enjoy your inheritance
as a saint in Christ Jesus! If the devil says that you cannot go forward that
is exactly the time you should push forward because that ugly, terrible and
wicked devil is a liar forever! Learn to always fight back!
The battle is almost unending because just when you are
settling down to enjoy your well won victory the devil raises its ugly head and
tries to cut you down. You must always be prepared and ready to fight on and
fight back every time!
