We are better than they Say!

We are greater than they say!

Do you know that you are loaded with gifts? Do you know that you are strong, confident and great?

Do you know that you are a survivor? Do you know that you are a shining star in this world?

If you are reading this then you are blessed beyond measure and you are greater than they say!

Most of us have gifts, talents, capacities, and skills that we have not even discovered and that we have not begun to use just yet.

Everyone like I say carries genius. We are all crafted masterpieces as God’s amazing creations. None of us is bereft of gifts, talents and special skills. We are all loaded to perform beyond our own imagination.  The only problem is that many of us never scratch the surface of our geniuses.

There is a story on the internet that has already gone viral about the young Malian migrant resident in France. Mamoudou Gassama only got to France a year ago.   I am sure that he did not think much of himself going from Africa to Europe.  He seemed ordinary until a situation that he had been prepared for presented itself.

On the street of France in one of the high rise buildings a toddler was about to fall off about 5 storey building and when our young Mamoudou saw what was happening the greatness in him swung to action and he decided to dare gravity to go against the norm to save the toddler.

The truth is that greatness is on the inside of Mamoudou but he needed that greatness to be triggered for the greatness to manifest itself in faraway France. As we speak Mamoudou Gassama  has become a national hero in France and he not only met with President Macron he was also given the French citizenship. He is also going to start a job with the Fire Service in France.

You might call it fate, destiny and a great miracle whatever you choose to call this very inspiring story is fine with me but I choose to say that Mamoudou is greater than they say.   He also had greatness on his inside he just did not know it.

Mamoudou Gassama is a human being just like us. He is gifted, talented and great by extension so are we all if only we can believe the finished work of our LORD and SAVIOUR, Jesus Christ in our lives.

God delights in the prosperity of all his children. God desires that we excel and do well by every standard.   We are all special in the sight of God. We are all born to do great things and we are all gems and treasures in this life.

It is time to believe in the truth that we were born to do great things and time to set out to accomplish this greatness.   As we take on this great and amazing week let us be inspired by a greater sense of purpose and power and let us realize that there is more to us than meets the eyes.

We are greater, stronger, mightier, richer, better than they say.  We are loaded for our generation.

RE: STRIVE FOR MORE!

Are you dissatisfied in life? Are you living below your dreams, hopes and expectations? Do you feel that there is more to you that is being presently showcased in your life?

Do you feel that you deserve more in life but presently you are living way below your life’s standard?

Well many of us are in that place of deep dissatisfaction. The truth of the matter is that we all desire more in life.   We all pray for better places in life and this includes a better position in our homes, in the market place and at our careers.   

It is true that life does not always give us what we deserve. Life gives us what we demand for or better still what we fight for.

We have to fight to take our positions in life. We have to fight to take our place and we have to fight to remain in our positions. As they say even in Freetown there is no free lunch.  Life demands that we fight to take our place.

In life we have to strive for more. We have to strive for more peace, more joy, more grace, more happiness, more riches, more honour and more glory. Striving connotes some level of force and action because nothing good comes easy!

Sitting pretty and behaving that all is good when our conditions and situations are far from this requires that we strive, it requires that we fight for what we want and desire. It requires that we stand up to be counted and stand out to be heard.

We must not allow life happen to us. We must not sit still waiting for the heavens to rain good upon us. We must be actively seen to be taking concrete steps to reach our preferred situations and places. We must not be complacent. We must be active and proactive. We must fight to achieve more in life.  We must strive to be more and to do more because we were not born to be small. We were born to be great and nothing short of being great is acceptable.

We must remain prayerful because we also realize that the battle is not to the strong. Neither is the race to the swift. It is the grace of God in our lives that guarantees that we will make it and that guarantees that we will reach our highest and our best in life.

Striving outside of God or grace is not an option. We must bring God into the equation because God is the ultimate power and the ultimate grace that can ensure that our lives make sense and that our dreams come to pass.

In this season we must strive for more by being more and by doing more because time is nobody’s friend.   What we do not do now we might regret later!  There is so much more that we be and there is so much more that we achieve and there is no better time than now to be all and to do all!

Re: Do not give up the FIGHT!

Do not give up the fight!

Sometimes it is tough.

Sometimes it is unbearable.

Sometimes you cannot seem to see a way out.

At such times do not give up!

They say it is darkest before dawn.

They say there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Life sometimes deals us great blows.

This happens to weaken our resolve.

We must never give up.

We must never crumble like a pack of cards.

We are permitted to do anything else but give up!

Giving up is not an option!

We must continue to strive.

We must continue to build.

We must continue to believe for a greater and a better tomorrow.

Rome was not built in a day.

God and providence is on our side if we do not quit!

We have the victory if we do not quit.

Pray! Praise!  Keep moving FORWARD!

The truth is that you are closer than when you first began.

The truth is that you are nearer your destination of gold now more than ever before.

So chin up, head straight, shoulders firm and strides straight to the place of wealth and power.

Realize that you are a winner.

Realize that you are a victor.

You have all it takes to win.

You have all it takes to succeed.

You must not give up now.

You must focus on the big picture.

You must focus on the big dream.

You must reposition, readjust but never ever quit the dream.

The truth is that it is toughest just before the breakthrough.

The truth is that is it roughest just before the break of dawn.

Remember that God is on your side as your strong ally.

Remember that you never ever walk alone!  You have the holy angels guiding your every step.

Try not to despair.

Try not to give in to fear.

Try not to cave in or surrender to happenings around you.

Get up, get out and behold a new day dawn!

Keep moving, keep believing, keep hoping and keep working at your dreams.

You are a prayer, praise away from your greatest all time breakthrough!

This is not the time to faint.

This is not the time to quit.

This is not the time to give up on yourself and on your dreams.

God will make a way for you because He is the Way maker!

RE: REDOUBLE YOUR EFFORT!

We are in the season of possibilities for everyone that believes. We are in the season of open doors and endless possibilities. There is no better time than now to believe again, try again and really to redouble our efforts.

We are in the season of divine grace. Grace makes the impossible possible. Grace opens doors that were before now shut against us. Grace empowers us to achieve the uncommon. Grace delivers great favours into our lives. Grace enables the disabled. Grace sets up for greatness and glory.

This is the best time to redouble our efforts in all our endeavours. We must work harder, smarter and faster so that we can achieve greater and better results. This is the time to do the impossible because nothing is impossible to anyone that believes.

This is the time to keep our faith alive, and have our hopes in top gear. This is the time to try again in every place where we had failed before because if we try and do not succeed we must try again and there is no better time than now!

We must also work at raising the bar. The question one must ask then is; ‘What does it mean to raise the bar’? When we say raise the bar we mean go the extra mile or believe for greater things to happen in our lives. If for example you were hoping to make five million naira in this month in sales to raise the bar we must set our thoughts and minds at making ten million naira and not just five million naira. To raise the bar means that we must set our eyes, hearts and minds at bigger and greater achievements and accomplishments. It means we must refuse to see impossibilities on our paths but rather see endless possibilities with clear open doors and great achievements this month!

Life only answers to those who dare to dare so we must do a lot of daring this month. We must cast off fears, worries, doubts and agitations but rather face our month squarely with faith in our hearts and minds and hope for  better, greater and glorious days all in the month of May!

We must be goal getters and goal achievers in this new and wonderful month. We must set our hearts and minds to greatly attain. We must seek for glory and reach for the stars in this new and exciting month. We must expect God’s continually goodness, favours, mercies and love daily because the nature of God is to continually do good but if we do not embrace this thinking and mind-set then good and glory might elude this. This will not be our portion in Jesus mighty name.

It is time to enter into a new level of life where all things are possible to achieve. It is time to see unlimited possibilities and embrace a new refreshing change of status in our lives to do this we must redouble our efforts in all of our endeavours.

PREPARE FOR WHERE YOU ARE GOING!

PREPARE FOR WHERE YOU ARE GOING.

There is a higher place, there is a better place, there is a greater place ahead of us all no matter how highly placed we are in life.

We all dream of our promised land and this might mean different things to different people. The important thing is to always have your desired place in mind and in focus because every day takes us closer and closer to our desired destination by the special grace of God.

We all have a preferred place that we all dream about and at the moment some of us have arrived and some are still far from the desired place while some are just a day away from reaching this wonderful place in life. Whatever be your lot and state in life my admonition to us today is to keep our visions in view and to keep our hopes and aspirations always in front of us.

If you are like me then the truth is that I cannot wait to get to my promised land, my preferred place and my highest and best place in life. I believe very strongly that the set and ordained time for me to enter this promisedland is now. I believe the same for you too. My simple admonition to us today is the need to be prepared for this great and beautiful place. 

We need to prepare spiritually, physically, mentally, socially, financially and psychologically for this brand new place. We cannot get there and begin to prepare. We must prepare today for the great and beautiful place tomorrow.

Many people that were not prepared for their day and place of glory end up messing up the whole experience. May this never be our portion in Jesus mighty name. amen.   We need to work at being prepared. 

We need to prepare our minds and our mentality. I will never forget the words of Bishop Tony Osuobeni, a spiritual mentor to me some years ago. He said to me, Victoria your becoming great is assured what you need to worry about is your preparedness. He told me to dress for where I am going and to dress the way I would like to be addressed.

I daresay that we are about to enter a new phase of life, a new level and a new territory that will require a higher level of responsibility and accountability. Self-leadership is the first leadership because if you cannot lead yourself then you have no moral right to want to lead others.

Promotion is on the way! Elevation is coming around the corner and it needs a prepared person. Be prepared!
