Month after month
throughout the course of the year.
Am I grateful enough?

When I realize that
I am multi talented
Beautiful, intelligent and strong
Am I grateful enough?

When life chooses to favour
Me and my entire story
Reads like Cinderella’s story
Because of God’s love and mercies
Am I grateful enough?

Am not grateful enough!!!
So LORD for all your mercies and all your graces
I say that I am truly grateful.

TODAY IS NOT YESTERDAY!!!

TODAY IS NOT YESTERDAY.

Today is not yesterday.

Today is a brand new day. A brand new you.
Today is a new dawn with new hopes, new dreams, new aspirations and new grace.

Today is the day that the LORD has made you are mandated to REJOICE and be greatly glad.

Today is new, it’s never been before, it will never be again, it’s a brand new opportunity to begin afresh, to start a new page or begin a brand new book altogether.

Today you can discard the past and put in the dustbin of history completely refusing for the power of yesterday to hinder or paralyze you.
Today is a golden period in history. It is a unique day; it is a wonderful and glorious time in time.

Today you can attempt the impossible; you can achieve new vistas, and accomplish new levels of grace, glory and greatness.

Today is not yesterday. Yesterday is gone forever. It is consigned to the archives of the past belonging only to the pages of history.

Yesterday is gone forever, it can never be relived, never be recalled. Yesterday is HISTORY!

Today is a gift. Yesterday is history and tomorrow is still a mystery.

Today is where it’s at, today is what really counts. Today is what is important, critical and crucial.

Today conquer those fears.
Today make that change.
Today take that step.
Today sing that song.
Today take that journey.
Today read that book.
Today produce that film.
Today buy that plot of land.
Today take that job.
Today take that challenge.
Today help that child.

Today write that cheque.
Today say NO! to that toxic relationship.

Let not today pass without you achieving your set out goals.

Let not today pass without you giving a helping hand to someone around you who needs it most.

Let not today pass without you not living your best life now!
Today is the biggest, greatest and most glorious time of your life so cease the moment and maximize the hour.

Today births tomorrow. Today breeds the great changes that you have always prayed for.

Take charge of today, and tomorrow will birth you greater grace, greater glory and great greatness.

Today remember to be grateful, thankful to the giver of life and time himself! God Almighty.

Make today count so that you too can leave your name in the sands of time.

If you fall down! You must get back up again!!!

IF you fall down, you must get back up AGAIN!

In life we sometimes trip and we sometimes lose our way and forsake our paths, this causes us to fall on our faces and lick the mud, the important thing to d is to get back up again!!

Regardless of how many times we fail, fall and falter we must realize that God is not finished with us yet and His ultimate for us all the time is good and NEVER evil, and better days are yet ahead of us if we are alive and well in God!!

We must never see our fall as the end of the road; we must get up from the ground and get back on the path of righteousness, good and power. Life is fraught with ups and downs especially when we’ve missed our paths in God as a result of sin, ignorance and disobedience and even when we are on the straight and narrow sometimes troubles comes, but God in his power, love and providence has promised us the VICTORY!!

Whenever we fall, fail and falter we must by the grace of God ARISE and by the help of God rebuild and recoup for we have two hands in life, one is to build constantly and the other is to fight, this truth was expounded by Bishop T. D .Jakes.

Time waits for no one so we must jealously guard our days and not allow times and seasons that seem devastating to steal our joy and destroy our hopes.

Life sometimes deals us all kinds of blows seasons of adversity when the bills are high and the funds are low, when friends are nowhere to be seen and even family members are all busy with their own life’s share of troubles, at such times we must hold on tenaciously to God and pray and believe in the saving grace of the Almighty the creator and maker of the universe whose prayer is the we succeed regardless of all the odds for God is never against us but always for us. For God has clearly made it clear in His Word that He does not wish that any man perish but that we all come to the knowledge of repentance and renewal.

Whenever we fall, and we are in the terrible situation we must remember the story of the 4 lepers in the Bible. These four lepers were lepers so that made them outcasts, men who were despised and hated by the rest of the community. They were simply not wanted and they had to stay far away from everyone but even though they were lepers God still loved them and cared about their well being.

One day they began to think to themselves because there was famine in the land. They began to reason amongst themselves, “if we stay in the city we will die”! “if we go outside the gates of the city into enemy’s territory we will die, but there is no food in the city, so they chose to move forward and leave their comfort zone where they had not been able to record any significant success because they were despised and hated anyway.
They chose to take a step of FAITH forward, they were prepared to die going forward, and they were tired of status quo and chose to die moving forward! God Almighty saw their FAITH and decided to honour their faith and reward their courage.

As they moved into enemy territory, their enemies heard the sound of war and believed that the Israelites were upon them, even though all that happened was that God Almighty made them hear that sound. God CAN DO ANYTHING if we believe! He is the God that makes the impossible possible! When God sees faith He responds and He rewards.
Like the four lepers I have personally chosen to move on and move forward and if I perish I perish!

Personally my month of April was threatening to say the least but I thank God today that I not only came through but I am determined to forge forward and make progress regardless of the oppositions and the troubles life brings my path.

I also know that in Christ Jesus VICTORY is sure and VICTORY is guaranteed!
Perhaps you are at a place in your life where you do not know what to do, who to see and who to trust?

Perhaps life has dealt you a fatal blow and you feel like sitting still and making no further movements of progress.
Perhaps you have achieved all and have plateau, well my brothers and my sisters regardless of where you are there is a greater place and a higher destination in God.

You might have lost all, maybe from a wrong business venture or you have just not been able to get if off the ground, fret not yourself because God is at work in you both to will and to do of his great pleasure.

You are not alone; God is your ever present help in the time of trouble. As they say it is darkest just before dawn and just because you failed does not make you a failure. According to John Maxwell one of my most cherished authors, you can fail forward!

The moral of the story of the four lepers includes the following:
1. Never look at your condition to determine your prosperity; because when they got to enemy camp the enemy had fled and they left so much bounty that the famine that had ravished Samaria the home of the lepers disappeared in one day! Yes in one day!

2. Never die where you are, go forward regardless of the pain you are going through, if you have to crawl, crawl, if you have to wade through the waters wade, whatever you have to do against the strain do it! As long as you are not doing anything illegitimate!

3. Trust in the providence of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob! God rewards Faith and courage!

4. When you think it is over that is when God begins his work of rebuilding, reconstruction, renewal, and releasing. Like Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo will always say, “IT’S NOT OVER UNTIL YOU WIN”!

5. You might not understand the path that you take as an individual but ultimately God knows, sees, and understand and His will, plans, purposes and counsel will always STAND because He is your creator, maker and king! Or is He not?

As you forge ahead in the month of May believe for greater days ahead and may the God of Peace, Power, Pleasures and Possibilities grant us all grace, mercy, truth and more than anything may we experience His love which is so great it is incomprehensible and so wide it is unimaginable.

RE: 12 REASONS WHY WE MUST TRUST IN GOD NOW!!!

TRUSTING IN GOD? CAN WE?

Have you ever had an issue with “Trusting in GOD” or am I the only one with that problem?

By now you all know my style of writing I write as I feel and I try not to preach!
Anyway for a while now I have only trusted in God with regards to the big issues like health related and life threatening matters that is beyond me. So now you have my theory on trust!

I kind of trust God only when there is nothing else that can be done sort of like when you no longer know what else to do?

So I am at a point in my life where I am reawakened. I have had to suddenly relearn the art and act of Trusting God with everything whole ha!

I must trust God with everything, the big stuff, the mundane, the silly, the simple and the difficult.

It’s easy to trust yourself, trust your husband/wife, trust your siblings and anyone else that you can see. We all know that God exists in one form or the other, but do we really “TRUST IN GOD”?

Can God be trusted at all with all the global melt down and economic downturns, earth quakes and tsunamis, and the perennial melee that plagues our world?

Why are things seemingly getting worse?

Why are we more depressed and have to fight one scourge or the other?

Why are we knowing more and getting less from our knowledge?

Why are we fighting senseless wars and loosing fine men and women in these wars?

Why does peace elude us in our world?
Where is God in all of these? Can God be trusted in the 21st Century?

Is God on holiday? Has He resigned or retired from his position as God?
Has God left us to figure it all out by ourselves since we claim to know so much? Is God in the Church? Is God still in control of the world’s affairs or has God lost control?

These and more are the questions that go through my mind but I realize that we only question when things are not working our way, and when things stop working our way once we miss the mark, which explains why we need to look inward and judge our actions and find our paths back to God.

God is still God.
God is still good.
God is still in control.
God is still true.
God is still faithful.
God is still dependable.

God can never ever lose control. He is the reason why we can still make sense out of our existence.

After thinking through the whole matter of whether God can be trusted or not I come to the conclusion that HE alone can and MUST be TRUSTED!

Not to trust in God is to trust in a man which is the accruement of a curse upon the head of any man who makes the arm of flesh his strength.

Trusting God is a command and not a mere injunction.

We must trust in God more than ever before. We must not only trust in God in good times but also in the times of adversity and difficult challenges.

I have found in the HOLY WRIT, 12 strong reasons why we must trust in God with scriptural references to back these points up.

1. God is the creator of heaven and the earth and everything in between heaven and earth, Genesis 1.1/31

2. God is the owner and possessor of all things, kingdoms, thrones, queens and kings, commoners everything belongs to God, Psalm 24.


3. God is the owner of all the silver and all the gold. Haggai 2:8

4. God can do anything He decides to do whenever He decides to do it. Jeremiah 32:27


5. God sees far and near, and He fills everything in heaven and on earth. Jeremiah 23:23/24.

6. God loves man and He gave his highest and best through his son; JESUS CHRIST! If He gave so much who best to trust? John 3:16.

7. God’s counsel always STANDS even when we make our own ways as mere men. Proverbs 16:9, Proverbs 19:21.
8. God is Alpha and Omega; He is the beginning and the end. Revelations 22:13.

9. God never fails because love never fails and God is love. 1Corinthians 13:8A
10. God desires that all his children prosper and be in health always that is one of God’s biggest desires after salvation, who best then to trust than God Himself? 3John2.

11. God’s thoughts for his creations are for good and never for evil to give us a future and a hope. Whenever God thinks of us He thinks only good, and never evil should we not trust in this God? Jeremiah 29:11

12. God commands that we trust only in Him and not in any man. God realizes that man is frail and his every thought is continually evil when he is not regenerated,

so God commands that we trust only in Him, so that we be not disappointed and so that we do not come under the curse. Jeremiah. (Please spend time to find exactly where this can be found in the book of Jeremiah!)

As a human being seeking for God’s hands and face in my affairs I must learn to trust not in the government , in institutions, the family, and friends but to put my trust only in the living God.

Everything that can be shaken will be shaken and so there is no other and better time than now to trust. I am not talking about religiosity! No! No! No! I am talking about knowing and trusting God for ourselves for the days that we are living in are evil.

I am talking about knowing and trusting God for who He is and for what He can do.
It is they that know their God that shall be strong and do exploits!
So we must commit ourselves to relearning the art and act of “TRUSTING”!
To trust is to rely upon.
To trust is to depend upon.
To trust is to have confidence in something and someone.
Is God trustworthy?
Is God dependable?
Is God faithful?
Is God true?

If your answers are YES to all these questions then please put your TRUST in GOD ALMIGHTY ALONE!

RE: TAKE RESPONSIBILITY! TAKE CHARGE!

Take Responsibility! Take Charge!

As human beings we are purely responsible for our lives. We must be in Charge at all times!
We must not relinquish responsibility to another regardless of our situation or circumstance especially if you are a bonafide adult. Sometimes it looks as though someone is the cause of all troubles, perhaps it’s our sister, brother, father or best friend or perhaps it’s the wicked boss in the office?

The truth of the matter is its NOBODY! We cannot lay the blame of our lives not working or not panning together at the feet of another. I am not saying we do not have enemies and plenty of adversaries but regardless of the opposition we face and will yet face we must not allow the devices, tricks evil imaginations and machinations of other people determine our journey in life.

There will always be challenges, problems will always abound but they come to strengthen and empower us for our reign, for the greater the test the greater the testimony.

So it’s important that we realize that our lives are our RESPONSIBILITY! We must take responsibility for the good, the bad and the ugly that happens in our lives and not just about the good alone.
When we realize that our lives are in our hands then we will work hard at ensuring it works! The only one who can directly affect our lives is GOD! God alone should be given the power, influence and the charge over our lives.

We should relinquish control of our lives to God because we are sure of:
God’s Love
God Care
God’s Support
God’s Guidance.
God’s Plans.

We do this with the knowledge that is a joint venture partnership that is bound to succeed, because one with God is a majority and if God be for us who can be against us?

Essentially the essence of this piece is for us to weigh and realize the magnitude of the great responsibility that we carry by taking control and charge of the reigns of our lives.
We must by the help of God decide:
Who we are?
Where we are going?
How we intend to get there?
It’s the greatest and most important questions we can ask and answer to live a successful and fulfilling life on earth.
Who we are is the question of identity. While where we are going is that of direction and focus!

How we get to our various destinations answers the question of strategy!

It’s important that we answer these questions in order that we do not look back and regret the actions we took or did not take at the end of our lives, God forbid that we have regrets at the end of our lives.
Who are you? Who defines who you are?
Does our past define us?
Does our occupation define us?
Does our family define us?
Does our present situation, challenges define us?
Does society define us?
Who defines who we are?
Who should define us?
Are we defined by the colour of skin or by the colour of our eyes?
Does our accent define who we are?
Who are you?

Who you are depicts what you can do! Yes who you are defines your essence.
Its imperative that we take the lead, and take time to define and redefine who we want to be rather than allow others put their definitions upon us.

I am many things to many people at different times for different reasons and for different purposes but at the end of the day only the CREATOR knows the real you. He alone can truly best define you because He made you, created you, and molded and shaped you even in your mother’s womb.

The question of identity and purpose is what helps us to have a concise and clear realization of the true visions of our lives.

If you do not know who you are then life will remould you. Take for an example an eagle bird that was born amongst chickens and left to brood with the pack for too long, after sometime the law of association sets in, and pretty soon the eagle bird begins to behave like a mere chicken. So it is with our lives, if we do not quickly realize who we are we, the environment, and our associations begin to reshape and remake us? So a prince begins to act like a commoner and God forbid like a criminal.

This is why it is important that we do ourselves one of lives biggest favours by defining who we are?

Do not let your circumstances, your past, your present, your limitations, your conditions your status, your name, your country, your people, your gender, your tribe, your church, your accent, define you.
Do not take on labels put on you by people.

Do not accept unacceptable togas and discomfiting titles.
Come to terms with your heritage, and realize who you are and what you can do!
Why be a chicken when you can be an eagle?
Why be a goat when you can be a horse?
Why be tortoise when you can be lion?
Why be a dog when you can be an elephant?
Why be a follower when you can be a leader?
Why be small when you can be great?
Why die when you can live?
Why be single when you can be happily married with children?
Why be lonely, sad and depressed when you can be lovely, happy, satisfied and fulfilled?
Why stay small, limited and clueless when you can be great, incredible and enlightened?
Why settle for less when you can have the best?
Why be ordinary, when you can be sensational and dazzling?
Why complain, when you have the potential to lead, innovate and motivate millions.
Why be down and out, when you can be up and about soaring, reaching and achieving?
Why follow the brood, when you can blaze a trail and chart a new order?
Why merely survive when you can champion a cause, create a new world order.
Why allow status quo when you can change the world and make history.
Why be a, nobody when you can be an OBAMA?
Why be local, when you can be international?
Why be unknown, unsung, when you can be a hero, a superstar and a genius?

In order to leave a definite legacy we must all answer these 3 basic fundamental questions at one point or the other in our lives!

Now is the time, today is the day to answer these questions, of:
Who we are?
Where we are going?
How to get there?

When we answer these 3 important questions then we know without a shadow of a doubt that we are in control and in charge of our lives and that the only other person that can influence and impact our lives is our Creator and our God.

We must decide that in new year we would be more:
ORGANISED!
CREATIVE!
INNOVATIVE!
DECISIVE!
COMPOSED!
FOCUSED!
DETERMINED!
PURPOSEFUL!
CONSTRUCTIVE!
DOGGED!
PRODUCTIVE!
PROACTIVE!
It’s possible!
It’s achievable!!
Lets’ go forward!
Lets’ make progress!
Lets’ take charge!
Lets’ take control!
I see greatness.
What do you see?
I see possibilities.
What do you see?
I see glory?
What do you see?
Who are you?
I know who I am!
I am a GEM!
I am a TREASURE!
I am a STAR!
What says you?
Remember you are God’s best, highest and greatest!

RE: HOW LONG BEFORE THE DAY DAWNS?

How long before the day dawns?

I sit in my little corner and watch the parade of madness, and wonder how long before the day dawns.

How much more of this madness can I take?

Why in God’s name are we poor as a people?

Why is there so much INJUSTICE and suffering?

Why are our roads mostly death traps?

Why are our hospitals deplorable, undermanaged, ill-equipped and manned by under motivated unhappy medical personnel?

Why are we constantly in the dark and hounded by generators with noise constantly emitting poisonous fumes?

Why can’t 70% of our populace afford a decent three square meals per day?

Why is the plight of the common man huge with no job, no livelihood, no comfortable shelter if any at all, and hardly able to mansion a healthy lifestyle not to talk of been able to afford the killer expensive medical bill?

Why are our leaders, thugs, illiterates, drop outs, corrupt die hard politicians who combine politics with criminality and unimaginable and unequalled diabolism?

Why are we governed by the blind and lame, men and women who cannot see and who have no understanding of service, tolerance and integrity?

Why have we remained myopic, and self seeking and unprogressive?

Why have we had the same set of leaders leading us for over 4 decades?

Why does a tiny, but obviously powerful cabal hold us bound, gagged for so long?

Why has our politics become a prize for the highest bidder, a politics of looting, bribery, corruption and for the rich by the rich through the rich?

Why are so blessed but also so backward short of been blessed and cursed at the same time?

Why is there so much pervading darkness?

Why are we down and out without, the inspiration and compassion of a visionary leader?

Why do we keep killing our good men, while evil men thrive and prosper in the land?
Why are our pen robbers, celebrated even though they are no better than the armed robbers that hold our cities hostage, these pen robbers are celebrated and never questioned about their obvious stolen wealth, going around in the best suits spotting the Gucci’s and the Armani’s of this world, even though they are common criminals?

Why do we allow our leaders dominate, delude and demoralize and demonize us for so long?

Why are we impoverished by every government and left to supply our own; water, electricity, and shelter?

Why do we get so little and have to pay so much for the little we get?

Why do we allow our politicians who obviously have no good intentions towards its citizenry continue to destroy our nation and marginalize our dreams?

Why are we so poor, so depraved and so blind?

When are going to say NO to the STATUS QUO?

When are we going to say NO to the madness, the melee and the moribund depraved form of government we call democracy?

When are we going to rise up and take back control from the cabal made up of retired generals, ex-governors, and the so called old time senators and aged long director generals?

When are we going to chase out incompetent, visionless, corrupt and sick politicians from our polity.

When are we going to ask the so called old and tired brains and feet to exit the stage and ask our vibrant, dynamic and versatile and courageous young men to take the stage and move us to our promised land?

Is the trend not clear all over the world? How old is Obama? How old is Gordon Brown? How old is the President of France?

The world is changing, why should the old sets of hands and brains continue to rule us?, Especially when they have not been able to give us the basic amenities and infrastructure that helps for sustainable growth and development in our Nation.
How long will we remain paralyzed, completely dazed in a state of stupor ,unchanging and unmoved by the madness that pervades the Nigerian polity?

Why should the percentage of the rich and the affluent and the privileged be so tiny compared to the large mass of the uneducated, underprivileged and disadvantaged?

We demand true democracy in our Nation, because what we have practiced up till now is not democracy but MONEYCRAZY!

Our souls and consciences is for the highest bidder!

We demand a level playing field, where people will not be afraid to stand up and be counted for what they believe. We demand true justice and equitable distribution of the Nigerian Wealth!

Why should the North be developed by the South and the South left to beg and carry arms to agitate for what rightfully belongs to them?

Why should we create the Niger Delta situation because of greed and neglect, and wonder why there would be no youth restiveness and violence amongst the depraved and the disadvantaged?

Why should our leaders sleep on amazing beds exported from exotic countries, furnish their palatial mansions with the best of the best and enjoy constant supply of electricity while been driven in exotic state of the art air-conditioned cars and flown around in the most expensive jets while the ordinary Nigerian who you are supposed to be representing is broke, busted and disgusted with no house of his own, paying rent he can hardly afford, and eating once a day if he is so lucky.

Why should the divide be so wide? Why should the government officials not suffer what the average Nigerian is suffering so that he can work at quickly alleviating the pain and the poverty of the common man?

Our leaders live a life of delusion, and illusion, they are too far removed from reality and cannot understand the plight of the common Nigerian.

Why should our leaders use government monies to host stupid grandiose personal parties?

Why should they be allowed to use our resources to celebrate national weddings of the president`s daughters?

Why should our leaders resort to state of the art hospitals abroad the very minute they feel feverish and have a cough?

Why should they use the state funds to send their wards and extended families to the best school abroad?

Why are we allowing all these madness to thrive and multiply in our midst?

Why should councilors earn more than college professors?

Why should our senators earn more than our doctors?

Why are we crawling when we should be soaring?

Where is tomorrow`s legacy and today`s gain of democracy?

Why do governments keep reinventing the wheel?

Why do we see no light at the end of the tunnel?

Why should there be a clamour for second term when there has been NO PERFORMANCE recorded for the first term?

Why do we keep digging holes of death instead of giving life and transforming destines?

Why after over 45 years of independence all we have to show is the boom in the telecommunication and banking systems?

What is happening to our Educational system? What is happening to our Health care system?

Why are we so poor with infrastructural development?

Is there a vision for Nigeria to move forward?
Who is the visionary?

Is there a plan to transform Nigeria for the plan SMART in its orientation i.e. S.M.A. R.T

Why are we not deploying our best brains to the best spots or are we merely parading no good politicians whose only infection is to loot our treasure?

Is there real hope for our father land?

Is there light at the end of this dark tunnel?

Is there medicine for all our national pains and calamities?

Are we ever going to see the dawn after such a long night?

Is there an Obama hurling somewhere been groomed, been prepared, been packaged to deliver us from our present madness?

As followers we have failed our leaders?

You might ask how?

We have refused to:
1) Question them
2) Criticize them
3) Make them accountable
4) Correct them
5) Check them
6) Tell them the truth.
7) Properly advise them.
8) Celebrate and honor them when they do right.

As followers we are:

Self seeking, myopic, tribalistic, gullible and unprogressive

The Nigerian problem Is always the I! Me! I! syndrome.

We always think of self, self is king, we never think of the collective good of all.

In all that we do and say, it`s always about the bottom line, what is in it for ME?
As follower we must help our leader at governance by becoming progressive, productive and we must not elect the wrong men because of their wealth and then expect them not to play on our intelligence.

We must stop seeing Nigeria in terms of tribes and states. We must realize that we are the first one before we are many. We must understand that we must always seek out the best men for the job rather than allowing myopic, sentimental feelings to move us.

Regardless of where he is from so long as he can deliver and the cap fits, we must choose men wisely into elective offices.

In Nigeria today, bad men vie for political offices because good men refuse to stand up and face the music of change.

We cannot make progress as a reaction if we confuse to put on a icing on a bad cake, all our foundations are wrong!

Why are we Nigeria?

Do we like been Nigeria?

What do we need to put in place to become the Nigeria we dream and hope for?

Is the field we are all playing on a level playing field?

How long will our status quo remain?

If is only a mad man who keeps doing the same thing and the then expects a different set of results! You cannot plant corn and expect to harvest rice?

We must over haul the system we must result our foundation, we must return to true democracy government by the people for the people.
What we have now is a rape by a few against the majority of our peoples both leaders and followers should take the blame because both leaders and followers have failed and in their responsibilities.

Our leaders are a product of our environment and it is said that a people get the leader they deserve. So as followers if you get tired of these money bags visionless power mining politicians governing you then learn to say NO when they entice you with money they stole from you any way.

What we need is a collective will to say ENOUGH is ENOUGH! We are tired of the darkness, the madness, the melee, the lack of good governance, the corruption that has eaten deep into the fabric of every sphere of our polity the lack of progress and change in our nation, the stagnation and the spiral downward turn in all our systems, educational, health care and housing to mention a few.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

We demand for change, we ask for it.
We do not beg for it, we demand for it.
We do not pray for it, we demand for it.
We do not plead for it, we demand for it
Change is our right. We are tired of the tyranny, injustice, the inequitable distribution of Nigeria’s collective wealth.
We are tired of the CABAL and their death stranglehold upon our nation.
We are tired of the complete deterioration and neglect of our public schools?
We are tired of living in darkness in the 21st century.
We are tired of roads that are death traps.
We are tired of our monies and our resources been converted to personal use by our leaders?

We are tired of a few of the king’s men monopolizing our industries and holding the rest of us hostages.

We are tired of the fact that good men with great intentions never make it to the top of the echelon of our governments.

We are tired of the recycled men in our governments. We are tired of the same old! Same old!

We are tired of waiting, hoping and trusting that one day things will change?

We are tired of the few rich men getting richer while the vast majority of our people languish in poverty and penury.

We are tired of deaths that can be avoided, wasted lives that could have been saved and hopeless situations that could have been avoided.

We are tired of status quo?

We demand for change within our governments both at the federal and state levels.
Government must give its citizenry basic amenities that help make life bearable and livable, good roads, electricity, water, affordable health, education, and communication.

We are not asking for heaven on earth, just help take the hell from earth!
We demand equal justice for all and equitable distribution of wealth among the federating states.

We demand a Nigeria that WORKS!

We demand a progressive and peaceful Nation for all.

We demand that the divide between the governors and the governed be greatly reduced so that governance can be what it was meant to be servant hood, service and humility not tyranny, arrogance and looting.

We demand CHANGE! WE demand CHANGE THAT WE CAN SEE, not one that we merely talk about!

We are tired of promises, broken hopes, wasted lives, and abandoned generations.
As a government, you can make history by delivering on your promises; you do not have to drum up a bogus unrealistic 7Point Agenda into our subconscious just tackle Nigeria’s biggest and worst problem, POWER, ENERGY!

Focus on just ensuring that every home in Nigeria has constant power supply and the entirety of Nigerians will remain grateful including the myriads of companies and every sector of the economy.

Many dead businesses will spring up, many new ones will be born? Lives will be greatly improved, Hospital bills will come down, cost of living will drop, and manufacturers will concentrate on creativity and productivity, rather than worrying their brains about how to power their generators and all, also cost of communicating will drop and the general morale of the people will improve!

People will be happy because they can watch their favourite TV and Radio programmes , families will be united to stay together and play together, because they are glued to their TV sets which is powered by electricity.
Stress levels will be reduced, noise levels will be reduced all the terrible emissions that are released as a result of the use of generating sets, anger, irritation levels will be reduced.

It will be new NIGERIA, where everything WORKS! It will b; A NEW day! A NEW ERA! A GREAT DAY! In Nigeria!

We know that Nigeria is bedeviled by many problems; I believe if we tackle them one by one with focus and determination, Nigeria can become one of the best places to live in the world and one of the greatest nations on planet earth.

HOW LONG BEFORE THE DAY DAWNS? HOW LONG?

I have a dream that one day Nigeria will be free.
Free from the cabal that has held Nigeria under bondage for the last 50years!
Free from poverty, pain and plunder
Free from the stranglehold of the impunity of imbalance, injustice and corruption.

I have a dream that one day Nigeria will awake from the slumber that has captured the hearts and souls of the Nigerian people.

I have a dream of a Nation flowing with milk and honey, an abundance in all its natural resources, including cocoa, beans, groundnuts, cassava, palm trees and it’s mineral resources like gold, and every precious stone.

I have a dream of a Nigeria where everything works from the hospitals to the rail roads, where everywhere is clean and livable for all.

I have a dream of a Nigeria that is free of corruption, confusion and consumption, a strong, vibrant and dynamic economic state where everyone is given a chance at a job.

I have a dream of a Nigeria where Nigerians are valued and protected by their elected leaders and not treated as second class low level dissidents.

I have a dream of a Nigeria where water does not only flow in the rivers Niger and Benue but good, clean, clear water can be found in every home across the Nigerian State.

I have a dream of a Nigeria that is investment driven and friendly and where the government has long term workable plans for the development of its people and the economy.

I have a dream of Nigeria that is free from tribal wars, ethnic divides and local meltdowns.

I have a dream of a Nigeria that is dreaded by its competitors in the arena of sports, business and entertainment, a Nigeria that can stand proudly amongst the best 20 economies in the world.

I have a dream of a Nigeria that commands the respect of other nations in governance and nation building. A nation where the citizenry is proud to be called “A Nigerian”, where the green passport is not maltreated and mocked at but highly respected and sought after.

I have a dream of a Nigeria where the men and women in government will honour their fatherland by being humble, honourable and highly respected because they are a crop of leaders that “Say NO”! to corruption! Nepotism and despotism!

I have a dream of a better Nigeria where all Nigerians whether Yoruba, hausa, igbo, efik, Ibibio or any other tribe or tongue can vie for the highest seat in the land , and be voted for not because of his money but because of his credibility, honesty and loyalty to the Nigerian people.

I have a dream of a Nigeria that is free of 419ers, pirates and other economic saboteurs who make mockery of our Nation by rubbishing and tarnishing our very fragile good image, a nation full of peace loving and hard working people who take pride in their vocations and work.

I have a dream of a Nigeria free from both natural and man made hazards, a nation free from hunger, frustrations, hatred, envy, bitterness, and diseases like malaria, polio, aids and the rest.

I have a dream of a truly democratic Nigeria where ever man’s vote counts, from the beggar to the billionaire in the land, a Nigeria where a woman can vie for the post of presidency and not be shouted down because of her colour or her gender.

I see a New Nigeria, “A GREAT NATION OF GREAT PEOPLE”!

Nigeria has produced some great people in the past including the likes of Zik, Awo, and the Sultan and in contemporary times we have people like the late Gani Fawehimi, and Noble Lauret Wole Soyinka to name a few.

Lets all join hands to create the Nigeria of our dreams.

RE: WE NEED FAITH!

FAITH! FAITH! FAITH!

The Just shall live by Faith…

Faith is the response of the human spirit to the word of God. Believing what the word of God says and ACTING ON IT! Do not surrender to any circumstances that is not in conformity with God’s plans and purposes for your life.

Be responsible to the word of God because your life depends on it. Believing the word of God and living by it takes you from the arena of hope into Faith.

What is FAITH?

It is the CONFIDENT ASSURANCE that what we hope for is going to happen. It is the evidence of things we cannot yet see.

By Faith, we understand that the entire universe was formed at God’s COMMAND and that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen.

It is impossible to please God without FAITH. FAITH is OBEYING GOD. Faith is about believing God, HIS WORD and Acting on what we believe. FAITH believes that God will keep His promise.

Faith requires true KNOWLEDGE of God which breeds trust. Faith requires trust, for you cannot trust who you do not know. Trust requires true and deep knowledge which also requires time.

A true and deep knowledge of God that comes through studying His Word to see the past works and deeds of God in the holy BIBLE causes our heart to become firm and established in the person of God. This confident assurance that comes from knowledge/meditation builds faith.

To have faith, you must trust. You must take time out to study and meditate on the word of God- this reveals the person of God. Revelation aids penetration of His word which then breeds trust- this trust matures and mobilizes our faith.

When we know and trust, then we can act. Acting on the knowledge we have releases the force of our faith for faith is not an abstract entity. Faith has a parent. It is the true knowledge and understanding of the word of God. It is knowledge application, which is another word for WISDOM.

Faith and foolishness…

Faith is not foolish. It is rooted in the knowledge and proper understanding of the WORD of God. It is living by what God says about a particular situation. The Bible says, ‘my people perish for lack of knowledge…’ Hos 4:6. This is because Knowledge gives birth to faith. Understanding allows faith to work.

Faith is not foolishness. If a wise man is strong and wisdom is a result of knowledge, where does the wise man get his strength then? if not from the knowledge he has that others Lack. Wisdom is not folly, wisdom is born out of knowledge.

Knowledge of God’s word is light. Knowledge keeps you in the light, lest you grope in darkness. Ignorance causes inaction which is a form of stagnation. Knowledge without application is a form of darkness that eventually leads to stagnation.

Faith and the just…

The just shall live by faith, this is a statement of fact. It means there is no other way by which the just can live. Your coming into the kingdom of God was through faith and your continuity is dependent on faith.

Faith is the language of God. God is pleased by faith. Faith brings God into the realm of humanity. You must believe God exist and that He is a rewarder of those that diligently seek Him.

Faith is not embracing your ways, your methods and your strategies. Faith is acting in total trust and confidence in God’s ability. How can you believe, if you do not know? Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Faith is built up and released by the hearing and doing of the WORD of God. God is HIS WORD and every time you hear the WORD of God, you are taking in a bit of God.

The more you know of God’s word, the easier it is to act like Him. The more we act like God, the faster it is to shed off more of our humanity and take on more of Gods divinity.

When you see God’s work in the lives of the Israelites, Abraham, Sarah, Joseph, David, Daniel, the three Hebrew boys , Esther, Moses, Paul and all the other numerous Bible characters, you get to understand the person of God - his goodness, his mercies, his faithfulness, his poser, his judgments, his plans, his purposes, his will and his like and dislikes.

For instance:
GOD CANNOT LIE!
God does not sleep nor slumber.
God rewards.
God is ever faithful.
God hates the wicked.
God hates the proud.
God laughs.
God sings.
God rejoices over his own.
God gets angry.
God speaks.
God can be silent e.t.c.
You cannot know these things without spending quality time to read study and meditate on the WORD of God over time. It is the knowledge of God that breeds trust. Trust activates faith. While, faiths births supernatural results, because, faith is telling God that you are in total agreement and partnership with Him and His will.

Faith is saying to God “Yes, you can; “Yes you will; and, “yes, you must; because your WORD says so and I believe your WORD above my situation!’.

Hope…

Hope, on the other hand, is mental. Hope is mere wishing and is dead by itself if not supported by faith. A lot of us believers are merely hoping that things change, it’s a mental state of dreaming that has no backbone, no foundation and no power!

Hope is good, for we need it to exist, to thrive, to cope and to go on day by day. However, much more than hope, to live and succeed in God, what we need is FAITH! Just hearing the odd message that excites but does not spur us to ACTION cannot help us. Faith without works is dead; a lot of us merely hope and pray empty prayers that do not carry any power.

Ask yourself these questions. Do I really know God? Who is God? From the outpouring of your heart just write the much you can and see if you will not be surprised by how little you know of God.

A huge percentage of contemporary Christians only know the God of others- the God of Adeboye, the God of Olukoya, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. However, do you really and truly know God for yourself?

Who is God to you?
Do you fear him?
Do you obey him?
Do you trust Him?
Do you worship Him?
Do you Honor Him?
Do you reverence Him?
Do you love Him?
Do you adore Him?
Do you delight in Him?
Is He God in your life? Or is He just God, creator of heavens and the earth period!?
Do you know Him?
Do you understand Him?
How does He operate in your life?
What has He done for you over the past years? Can you trust him?
Do you rely on Him?
When you call Him, does He answer?

Truth is, most of us do not know God for ourselves; we leave our knowledge and understanding of God to our men of God. Hence, all we know of God is what our Men of God know of Him.

It amazes me how we can leave such an important aspect of our lives to a third party. No wonder there is a disconnection in our faith, beliefs and reality! No wonder we pray and do not get results, when we only act on other people's faith and not our own faith.

The word of God says, ‘this book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shall meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein; for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous and then thou shalt have good success.’ and ‘study to show yourself a work man who needs not be as harmed…’ It is our responsibility as children of God to be responsible for our salvation. Men of God are good but they can only help us so far. We must be responsible for our growth and progress in God by the help of God’s spirit.

3 John 2 God says, ‘I wish above all things that you prosper and be in health even as your SOUL PROSPERS’. How does your soul prosper? “By the entrance of the WORD...’ which brings Light and “God is Light.” Every time the WORD of God enters your heart and mouth and soul, it is God entering your life and driving out the enemy fears, doubts, worries deceit and all manners of darkness.

The WORD OF GOD IS LIGHT! More WORD equals more Light which equals God, because GOD IS LIGHT! When the WORD is fully formed in your heart, then we can be like God and Act like God and speak like God and see changes like God.

Faith living…
The just shall LIVE by FAITH. If you are not LIVING according to GOD’S will, you are merely existing. To live according to God’s plans and will is to truly thrive, succeed, excel, dominate, rule, Reign, and Win.

Living within God’s will is not just a state of mere existence or getting by. It is the only route to fulfillment. Sadly, a lot of us-myself inclusive- are merely getting by, struggling, Managing and sometimes faking it?

Is this the call? To live a life of lies, of deceit and disconnect?

You know the word, you say your prayers, you attend church regularly, you are even a worker in church, you have attended Bible School and you are part of the prayer band, but deep down are you really fulfilled?

Are you happy? Are you getting rewarded on your Christian walk? Are you always in love with God?

Are your prayers been answered 100% of the time? Can you say you completely trust God? Do you not wonder why you have been giving, giving and giving and the returns are not commensurate?

The truth is that 80% of us do not know God. Yes, we know of God, but do we really know Him? The Bible says that “They that know their God shall be strong and do exploits,” now, how many of us know our God? How many of us are strong? How many of us are doing exploit?

Instead of knowing our God, we focus on knowing the Gods of other men. We remain weak, discontented, frustrated, working it and wondering why it is not working.

To lead an effective faith-filled Christian life, you have a responsibility to:

1. KNOW YOUR GOD

You must have an intimate knowledge of God. It’s important that you have a deep relationship with the one you call your God. You must know him and come to be known by Him. It is that union of knowing one another that produces a force called strength.

God must be real in your life. HE should be much more than an isolated creator in heaven, whom you only hear of and have never felt, loved, served, worshipped or trusted. God must become YOUR GOD; not the God of Adeboye, Olukoya, Paul, Adefarasin, Kalejaiye and the rest men of God.

There is strength in knowledge. Knowledge breeds confidence, confidence breeds trust, trust releases faith and faith moves God to Action.

The time has come to stop playing church, or playing at being a religious zombie in a haze dazed, a sheep going through the motions day in day out hoping, wishing and just merely existing!

Christianity has become a fad, a fashion statement, "I am a christian, ,merly mouthing!

Most Christians are merely going through the motions and the rest are just looking on as spectators?

If God be God, let us serve him.
If the WORD of God is true, let us believe it.
If our faith be true, let us exercise it.
Let us stop all the madness - so much madness, so many formulas, so many teachers, so little truth, too little revelation, very little transformations, a lot of hypocrisy, a lot of lies, and a lot of deceits.

Where is the God of Elijah? Is He on holiday? Or is HE asleep? See, the day God decides to sleep, we all will die. We are finished!

So, let us cease from our slumber, let us wake from our PRETENCE- Christianity. Let us truly live what we preach and stop chasing shadows instead of knowing God.

Our concept of Christianity which focuses on prosperity is a trap and an enemy for our souls. Christianity is about living like Christ did. It’s about giving like HE did and about willing to die like he did.

You are the church. You are the light. You are the salt. You are an ambassador for Christ. Therefore, show the way. You and I as believers are the church of Christ. We are to live by faith and not as fools tossed by every wind of doctrine.

Faith is fathered by knowledge. Get to know the God that you think you know but you really do not know. When you know Him who you call your God, you will do exploits. Till then, it’s all groping in the dark.

Faith is not folly. Faith is not happenstance. Faith is not leaning on another man’s revelation and copying another man’s discoveries. Faith is personal. It is about uncovering God for yourself through the unraveling of the knowledge in God’s WORD by God’s spirit.

We are ever hearing and never coming to the knowledge of the truth.

Faith and love

You cannot hate your brother and exercise faith in God, because, God is LOVE. Faith works by love and God’s very nature is that of LOVE. He is not merely a lover, but HE is love personified. To walk in faith, you must walk in love. Love and light is God.

How can you be in the light and walk in darkness? Yet many of us live in hate and hold holy hands on Sundays praying to God for His blessings. God cannot contradict Himself. His memory is working well and He knows all His utterances.

Forgiveness is a commandment. It is not a choice. It is not a had-I-known mission. It is not a plea. It is a condition that we must meet for God to hear us. Forgive means forget. It means release both the offender and the offence.

God is an epitome of forgiveness. He completely lets go. When we err, He wipes the whole incident off his mind. In today’s parlance, he deletes all records and does not have a backup. He destroys all evidence, throws it into the sea of forgetfulness and then He causes the sea to dry and commands the sands to disappear forever.

If that is how God forgives us, why must we forgive differently? Are we not products of God? Do we not have the spirit and the nature of God? Can we not do all things through Christ that strengthens us? Forgiveness is a conscious decision. You consciously forgive regardless of your feelings, in obedience and compliance to God’s commandment.

When God sees our godly intention, He help us forget. Forgiveness is predominantly an act of our will. Even when God does help to accelerate the process and we choose to be hurt, bitter and unforgiving, then we give the enemy permission to take charge and rule our lives.

Faith is the bridge that brings God into our situation. Faith is obeying and acting on God’s words. Faith pleases God. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the WORD of God. Faith works by Love.

Faith is believing and speaking God’s word over and above your situation. Faith is standing when all else are mocking. Faith is seeing and acting the way God sees and acts. Faith is the confidence assurance that what we hope for is going to happen.

Are we walking by faith or fooling around on the journey of Life.
I have chosen to return to the school of the WORD to once again understand Faith, What about you?

Don't just assume that you have faith? If you have faith, you must do exploits! If you are not doing exploits, you do not know, if you do not know you cannot operate by faith because "Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the WORD OF GOD!

So if our lives are devoid of EXPLOITS a by product of faith then we do n to have faith and the word of God says "THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY FAITH, many of us are living by our strategies, and our plans and methods not by faith! It also means we are not pleasing God, because faith in God pleases GOD!

My message in this very long write up is simple!

1. If you are the just, you must live by FAITH

2. Faith is based on a true and deep knowledge of God

3. Most of us don’t know God we think we do.

4. Most of us know the God's of our men of God

5. Faith is not merely hoping, most of us are merely hoping.

6. Faith works by love. No love! No faith!

7. Most of us are not doing exploits, it means we lack FAITH!

8. Most of us are living by our methods, strategies and ideologies and not by faith, which is why our lives are really no different from the unbeliever.

9. Faith requires knowledge, knowledge takes time.

10. Faith breeds trust and confidence, remember David, and the three Hebrew boys and of course our very own Paul the Apostle!

If you have been able to read up till this point, i kudos you and i pray that God would open your eyes to the truth of His Word and POWER!

We have set new goals to achieve in this new year and we must resolve that regardless of the troubles, pains, challenges, difficulties we have faced, are facing and will face we must never give up, cave in, retreat or surrender to the situation or circumstance.

Life requires:-
1. Great faith and trust in God.
2. Great belief and confidence in our competence.
3. Great drive and determination.
4. Great passion in our vision and mission.
5. Great ability to network, and keep relationships alive.
6. Great enthusiasm.
7. Great zeal and zest.

Life is not for the weak, double minded and the confused.

You must be strong, composed, courageous and bold.

You must like the lion, roar.
You must like the eagle, soar.
You must like the horse, ride.
You must like the fish, swim.

There is a reason why you were created.

There is a reason why you made it into a new year and a new decade.

There is a reason why you are special and gifted like you are.

There is a reason why you are peculiar.

You are the only one with your particular looks and I.Q!

You must discover that reason, you must find that purpose, you must live that particular life destined for you by God alone which defines the essence of who you are!

You must never retire concerning your goals and aspirations.

You must never surrender your hopes and faith because of difficult situations.

You must never retreat with regard to your plans and your strategies

You must never quit at your sights, focus and determination.

It’s time to RE-GROUP!

It’s time to RE-STRATEGIZE!

It’s time to RE-FIRE!

It’s time to RE-CONFIGURE!

It’s time to RELEASE!

There are new heights to claim, new frontiers to conquer and new dreams to birth in to reality.

To succeed in this new decade you need to do an entire overhaul.

As they say only a mad man keeps doing the same things and yet expects a new result.
So spend time reworking the methods, and the strategies for achieving success and realize that at the end of the day it’s LEGACY that matters and not just making money.

Making tons of money is great but spending the money for the greater good is the best decisions that we can make.

Give life a push, apart from praying, hoping and believing there is also a need to “TAKE ACTION” and do something you have never done before!

Like MTN says “DO SOMETHING”! I too must do! And quickly too!

RE: My February Funeral- Lessons i learnt.

MY FEBRUARY FUNERAL- INSPIRED BY OMOBOLANLE OLUBUNMI’S FUNERAL

The futility of my mortality is the mortality of my futility -INSPIRED BY A FUNERAL.

The futility of my mortality is the mortality of my futility!

I am at a funeral? She was forty three years old. Yes merely four decades and three.

Did she live her best life?
Did she complete her race?
Did she finish her course and her cause?
Did she live happy memories behind?
Did she affect the lives of people around her?
Did she accomplish God’s purpose for her life?
Me attend funeral at the beginning of the New Year and decade? It is not my thing!
I particularly have never liked deaths, funerals and the likes.
Why must people die? Why must we experience pain, sorrow and the likes?
Why must young people die and their vibrant lives be suddenly cut short and cut down?
I understand the pain of grief and the grief of pain.
I never can understand why a young, beautiful, purposeful and intelligent woman, sister, wife, mother, career minded and successful woman like the one I have come to pay my last respect to today will suddenly slump to the cold hands of death. As if death understood all my fancy words of eulogy and accolades. Life they say happens at least that is what they say.

I am naturally pained and devastated by the loss but trust me it was a great and wonderfully learning ground for me to learn these lessons which I feel obligated to share with you my friend.

I never can understand why a young, beautiful, purposeful and intelligent woman, sister, wife, career minded and successful woman like the one I have come to pay my last respect to today will suddenly slump to the cold hands of death.

I am naturally pained and devastated by the loss but trust me it was a great and wonderfully learning ground for me to learn these lessons which I feel obligated to share with you my brother, sister and friend.

1. Live a focused, purposeful, planned life.
2. Live everyday as if it was your last planning for the worst and hoping for the best. Do not procrastinate, do not hesitate, do not merely congregate! It is time to appreciate and deliberate with the view to inculcate all that you know and have learned with the determination to demonstrate your true worth and value on the world’s stage.
3. Live a life of loving, giving, sharing, hoping, believing, forgiving and investing.
4. Live a life of FAITH and never fear, confront your fears head on! Never surrendering, quitting or cowering.
5. Live courageously and boldly, do the very things you think you cannot do and realize that you only have only one life and in life there is no dress rehearsal so, go out there and make things happen rather than watch and applaud others who have the guts to do the impossible.
6. Live an affective and passionate life. Why be dull, boring and totally unexciting?
7. Live a life of helping others along the way, no matter how small you think your contribution is, find a cause and leave your mark on the sands of time. The lives you affect are the ones who will eventually attend your funeral when you bow to life’s tolls.
8. Live Powerfully. Let your little light shine for all to see. Only the strong survive, only the strong arrive, so do not be afraid to live your dreams and live your best life NOW! That hidden dream, that hidden passion, that hidden desire, are you planning on leaving this side of the divide still pregnant with them when you can ensure that you die empty, like Dr. Myles Munroe my mentor would say, he is my mentor but he does not yet know! Only you know your highest potential, only you know exactly how far you can soar and how far you can achieve, so you must ensure that you become all that you were born to be and achieve all that you were born to achieve. Remember you are unique! Remember you are special and peculiar! Remember you are specially gifted and endowed, let humanity see a glimpse of your greatness.
9. Live by giving life all of your best shot. Do not accept Nos! Do not see limitations! Do not back off, back down or allow limitations! Do not allow life to give you its second hand bless me downs when you can create and participate in your own special field and excel in life. If you are in a relationship that is headed nowhere by all means get off! If it is a marriage situation then I will advise work it out and pray it through! If you are working in a dead beat boring killer job that makes you sorrowful and sad then it’s time to go after your dream, that job that makes you happy that you can do without getting paid and still feel at your best and happiest!
10. Live happily, seriously, playfully, in a balanced and great fashion. Live today for today, do keep postponing your happy and glad days till tomorrow, truth is tomorrow never comes all we have is in the now and by the time we get to tomorrow again it becomes today! So all you postponers of joy, gladness and happiness do not be fooled, do all the good you can do whilst it is still called today and let all your joy and gladness flow freely and enjoy the day while it is still called day! Let nothing stand against you and your happiness, you deserve to be happy so fight every enemy that wants to stand against you and your joy. Live happily you only have just one life, why be sad, pessimistic and grumpy when you can be happy, excited and full of joy. Let some humor in and never take yourself too seriously.
11. Live simply and humbly. When evil men die men rejoice and when good men die the people wail and wail because an angel has left the earth. Remember mother Theresa, great men are ordinary men who do extraordinary things, look at the life of Nelson Mandela, or the great and legendary Dr. King who fought for justice and equality in America. To become great you must be humble and impart and impact humanity. Self centered, and egoistic people who arrogate power and wealth to themselves are always remembered in bad light if remembered at all. Who wants to be a HITLER or an ABACHA of Nigeria. Somehow deaths always have a tale to tell of the lives we lived, every hidden thing will be revealed, so adopt a simple, uncomplicated life that is accessible and humbling. Our Reverend man of God, the great but humble General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God speaks poetically of how you can both be humble and yet great.
12. Live with eternity in mind. There is life after this life and do not for once imagine that we will not at the end give account of all our doings on this side of the divide. Do not join the group of skeptics that believes all that matters is here and now and after death it is sleep eternally. I believe that at the end there will be judgment, and God our maker will require that we all give accounts of what we have done in these bodies, so live knowing fully well that one day we will give accounts whether for good or for evil.
Finally I have written many pieces in my time, but in my mind and heart, the import and power of what I learnt on the day of OMOBOLANLE OLUBUNMI’s burial will stand for me one of the greatest learning days and so one of my biggest pieces. Every time I write, I want lives to be transformed, changed and made better, my prayer is that my February Funeral piece will resonate in your heart and mind and cause you to live a life that is great yet humble, exciting yet simple, passionate yet purposeful. It is POSSIBLE!

Love is in the air!

Love for God and humanity.

What is love you might ask?

God says He is LOVE!

Loving, caring and sharing all spring from one source! GOD!

Are you a beneficiary of God’s love?

Are you a candidate of his love, grace and mercies?

Do you have a vacuum that only love can fill?

Are you in love today or you’d rather wait for tomorrow before loving?

Are you a lover or a fighter?

Love is patient.
Love is kind.
Love does not behave itself unseemly
Love does not seek its own.
Love is not easily provoked.
Love thinks no evil.
Love does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth.
Love bears all things.
Love believes all things.
Love hopes all things.
Love endures all things.
Love never fails.

Is this how you love or to you love is just a feeling that you feel when you feel the feeling that you feel?

Is your love just for convenience or real and true love described above?

Next time you tell someone “I LOVE YOU”! realize the import and importance of what you are saying?

When you say to your lover “I LOVE YOU”! you are saying “I will be there with you till the end, regardless of the trouble, trial or temptation.

You are saying I will never fail you and I will always be for you and with you. This is the seriousness and power of love!

You are saying regardless of your circumstance and situation or condition I will never fail you!

Love and loving is a great thing.

Love is life and life is love, because God is love.

Love causes a man’s face to glow and a man’s heart to skip a bit!

Love transforms.

Loving, caring and sharing are housemates like big brother, they all live together and will always be together.

You cannot claim to love if you do not care or share of your affections and true devotions.

Why do you love?
When do you love?
Who do you love?
How do you love?

Love is a decision not just a feeling. You choose to love, the same way you choose to hate.

Love is not a fleeting feeling in the flesh that is both carnal and careless?

Love is the golden commandment.

We must love ourselves first to be able to love others.

We are to love God.

We are to love our neighbors as ourselves.

When next you say I love you, realize that you are saying “I GOD YOU” because GOD is love.

I know there are different kinds of love!

The love of a friend, the love of true lovers and the love of family members, but the greatest and highest form of love is the love of God, which is the “AGAPE LOVE”!

May we all find true love in all facets and in every dimension!

Love releases favour in our path!

Love heals!

Love is powerful, wonderful and colourful!

Do you know the colour of love?

To me love is the colour of the rainbow, radiant, shinning and brilliant.
May you never lack love from family, friends, colleagues and well wishers.

Keep loving!

Love is just a breath away!

Love is a care away!

God’s love for us his children is everlasting, dependable and complete.

Remember to show love 365 days of the year and not just on valentine day.

Also remember to reach out to the less privileged, the homeless, the jobless, the widows amongst us and the blind, the lame and the hopeless, be creative about your love and leave in peoples hearts and show a bit of God, leave a wonderful feeling in the lives of those that have not, and so look to us the gifted, the talented, the rich, the great!

Remember Jesus Christ who lived just to save humanity, all He came to do was to die to pay for humanity’s redemption!

Remember “Mother Theresa”! who lived her life caring and helping the poor in India!
Remember Nelson Mandela who spent years in prison because of the love of his people!
