AM I GRATEFUL ENOUGH?
Am I grateful enough?
When I wake up each morning
to see the brightness of another day
Am I grateful enough?

When there is food on my table
And enough to spend and save.
Am I grateful enough?

When I land that dream job
That took my GOD’s grace to get.
Am I grateful enough?

When I narrowly miss
That line of fire where many
Lose their lives.
Am I grateful enough?

When my brain works soundly
And my legs can carry me through
The day’s journeys
Am I grateful enough?

When my month goes well
Month after month
throughout the course of the year.
Am I grateful enough?

When I realize that
I am multi talented
Beautiful, intelligent and strong
Am I grateful enough?

When life chooses to favour
Me and my entire story
Reads like Cinderella’s story
Because of God’s love and mercies
Am I grateful enough?

Am not grateful enough!!!
So LORD for all your mercies and all your graces
I say that I am truly grateful.
