Why all these blackness all over these brightness?

Who stole your wealth and destroyed your health?

When will this darkness end?

A little light!
A great nation!
A little hope !
A great people!

Nigeria where is your light?

Who murdered our health care system?

Who bastardized our economy?

Why do we lack?When we are so richly blessed with plenty?

Why do we sleep, slumber and sweat when we should be soaring and roaring!

Nigeria, awake put on strength shake off the dust of pain, pressure and amala politics.

Nigeria take your place ride the wave make an impact, arise and shine.

Your people!
Your land!
Your oil!
Your produce!
Your peace!
Your glory!
Your greatness!

it all in yesterday?

Is it all gone now?

Are brighter days here?

Is the giant awake?

Is the light shinning?

Are your people prospering?

Are your roads drivable?

Are your systems working?

Is democracy thriving?

Arise Nigeria let your light shine.

Let your glory radiate!

Let your people celebrate, jubilate and exhale as they all smile and dance to the birth of a new day, and a new dawn.

Let your people smile and cease from their sighs, pitable sights, tired, broken, bruised and abandoned.
