Dream Big!
Life is too short to live it small,
insignificantly and unexcitingly. Life is just too short for that. We all need
to be very intentional about our lives. We need to think greater thoughts, and
do greater things in life.
There is no greater time than now to plan to
do the seemingly impossible because for him or her that chooses to believe
nothing is too difficult to be thought about and to be done. Simply said
impossible is nothing!
As I said in one of my quotes if you can think
it then you can pray it, and if you can pray it then you can achieve it! We
have to allow ourselves to dream bigger dreams and these dreams come first from
our thoughts before they become what we dream about, talk about and eventually
achieve in our lives.
It is important that we keep a journal of our
hopes, dreams, goals and aspirations. We can call it the goals book. In this
book we should write out all our deepest and wildest dreams because they have
the potential of coming to pass especially if we are prayerful and powerful in
our habits and our doings.
Aside from thinking it, dreaming it we must
also talk it to the right people who have the influence to impact our lives
positively and powerful to take action. The last thing that we must do is to
act out our dreams. We must take out time to make our dreams our realities by
daily working at our goals, hopes and aspirations.
The truth is that providence has a way of
backing us up and helping us achieve our written down dreams, goals and
aspirations. I read in one of Pastor Joel Osteen’s book of the story of one of
his congregation members who was a regular business man who dreamt of owning
his own private airplane.
He believed in the dream. He took steps to make it
happen by placing the photograph of an airplane on his desk and after some
years passed he was able to afford to buy an airplane at a price that was not
just ridiculous but laughable. God Almighty saw his heart, loved his power of
faith and decided to help him actualize that dream in his heart.
It is time to dream big, talk big, act big and
live big. Life is too short to remain
small, insignificant and unknown! Make
your dreams come alive!
