RE: Do not lose steam

There is no doubt that all the excitement of entering a new year has died down and most of us now have forgotten most of our resolutions and our year's goals. I want to encourage us all not to lose our excitement, our focus and our drive for the New Year!

I cannot explain where the great excitement to enter a new year comes from though I believe it comes from both within and also from external factors outside of us as people but we must not allow our excitement die. We must not lose steam.

We must keep our vision fresh. We must keep our goals in front of us and daily revisit all our commitments and our mission for 2017.

We must not allow the basic mundane of every day living becloud our judgement and smear our joy for a brand New Year. We must keep the fire of our desires burning and we must strategically walk through the months in 2017 on fire for where we are headed this year.

It is important that we daily look at our goals. It is even more important that we put timelines to those goals and spend time daily working at our goals so that at the end of every month we can appraise how far we have gone in achieving these goals.

There is no magic that can happen if we refuse to work at our goals. I believe that our aim and objective is to supersede last year's achievements.  This is not going to just simply happen.  It will require that we are dedicated, committed and determined to win, excel, and succeed at this year's goals and objectives.

We must not lose steam. We must not lose focus. We must stay super excited at our new year. Someone said that life is a book....Everyday is a new page, Every month is a new Chapter, and every year is a series. I believe nothing could be truer.
